Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.

If you have thin arms open door slowly and quickly insert arms to stabalize plates, if not possible consider placing a pillow in cabinent to catch plates.... Wait does that door slide. If so slide open a crack and fix plates....

Get a laundry basket, put a comforter in it so it's very padded. Have someone hold right under cabinet and someone else slowly open. Catch some with hand, others go into soft basket. Good luck!

Try to maneuver the ones that are immediately falling with the door of the cupboard (place something soft around the area to catch the falling plates)and use the door to push the others from falling if it fails still would save some of the plates.

Either put couch cushions or other type of padding on the ground below you might loose some but not all. Or as my mother suggested call a glass cutter to have them come out and cut the glass.
