Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Let them crash, and then give them new life using Kintsukuroi, Japanese ceramic repair method, which uses gold to fill cracks and splits.

Let Belle and Beast fall in love again. The plates will be human again in no time. Then you won't have to worry about them breaking

Go to centeral city, wait for the particle accelorator to explode, get struck by lightning and become the Flash. Use your super speed to catch all the plates

Empty the rest of the cupboard and then lay it down flat and open it.

Play "Black Beatles". Then open left shelf to rearrange. Trust me I've seen it on videos.

Open the door slightly and slowly slide your hand in just enough to hold them in place. Then inch the door open more and more while correcting the tilting dishes.

Place cushions or a soft blanket on whatever the plates would land on if you opened the cupboard and the floor. Hold a blanket or towel (something to catch them in) and ask someone else to open the door whilst you try to catch them as they fall

Door appears to slide. Slide slightly; brace plates and slide open cabinet. You're welcome.

Just have a mattress on the ground to help the fall not shatter the bowls. Have a second person standing there so that none of the bowls fall off the mattress. Genius, someone hire me.

You could cut open the glass if its not valueable. cut open a hole in the glass and reach in and pull out the plates

Hire an entire army of those guys that spin plates on sticks. Train them for a year on catching falling plates and then give them this final task to complete their work.

Saw a hole into the top, reach in and re-arrange. I hope the hutch doesn't reach the ceiling.

If it's individual panes of glass you could remove the vertical wooden crosspiece on top to remove the glass and rearrange the bowls from above.

Keep the door closed, Break the glass above it and reach in from above with gloves and a shirt wrapped around your arm so you don't cut yourself. Replacing the glass on the door is easy.

Have George Soros fund A protest about the plates. That usually fixes things
