Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Open slightly, slide in a piece of cardboard and open glass while bracing cardboard against dishes

All cupboards have a panel on the back, lose it and you can access the plates from the back, this is the only option.

Live stream it on Facebook. Become internet famous. Someone will sponsor you a new set of plates.

It's easy.. Create an artificial environment to become Flash and get strucked by lightening. After becoming Flash just match ur Hands frequency with that of glass and Bam.. Ur dishes are arranged in a Flash.

Call The Doctor. He will go back in time to when the plates fell, and prevent it from happening. Only problem, he can never return to that point again, so dont muck it up again.

Open the cupboard, let dishes fall down and break. Use broken pieces to create mosaic art. Sell art, buy new plates.

Is this a trick question? Sliding-door cupboards always have two sliding doors. Open the other one until you can reach the dishes. As far as I see, you should be able to open it at least halfway.

Okay. Seriously:
cut a hole into the right glassplate and try to carefully balance the plates on the left, which should already be sufficient in order to push the stack into a more stable state. Then some other person might open the door, taking part of the stack.
if you use a good glasscutter, you can then decorate the hole in the glass or just let it as it is. funny thing to remember :)

Use ducktape to keep the doors in position. Then find a friend and hook the cabinet of the wall, and tilt it on it's back. Take the tape off and the plates out.

Remove the lower glass of slider. Balance the plates on your hand or put some cloth below and slighlty slide the door
