Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Put something very soft & bouncy . Open the door and try too minimize the crash with your hands. At the end they will fall over the soft area.

I would carefully break the glass above the plates, and then carefully reach in from above and pull them out!!!

The cabinet door appears to be sliding door. If so, then if the other side door can be slided so much that you could reach over to the bowls, you could carefully clear the stack out. Alternately, you could try to carefully slide this door just enough to reach in and take out the plates, topmost first.

Take car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

I'll upgrade to solution #1 adding less chance of breaking the plates. Buy a diamond glass cutter, cut a hole in the glass above the plates, that will not create a breaking vibe. With help, take all plates out. Buy new glass. Cheers!

Go to Tibet and train for 1 year everyday with monks, perfect your reflexes. Once back in the house you will have a clam spirit, very low reaction time and muscle speed that will allow you to open the cupboard and catch all the plates before they reach the floor.
