Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Is this a sliding door? Just slide it open and support with your left hand. Push all the falling plates back to the ledge and then push everything to the right side. Proceed to slide the door until you could fit both hands and remove the plates.

Take out the piece of glass on the right, and send a midget to get the job done.

Cut a hole in the glass with the circle just a bit smaller than the circumference of the plate. Then reach inside and push the stack inside and open the door slowly.

Take a video of it from various angles and post it on YouTube with the title: "plates doing the mannequin challange" and then post it on social media saying "you won't believe what happens next" and become an internet sensation twice in one month!

You should open the door, the bowls that don't smash you need to break, that would teach all the other bowls and plates in the house that it's not ok to behave like that.

If you have thin hands, you can catch the plates through a small opening. Fat hands and the cupboard is externally shut!

You need to cool down the whole room to -328°F. At this temperature, the cups will fall down slower, because the electrons are lazier. You can easily get all the cups without any broken porcellain.

Throw a party, switch off all the lights, order someone to take a plate from the shelf, wait and see the result, finally you can blame all on him and ask him to pay.

Perhaps one person can slide the door open very gently and slowly (that shouldn't disturb the current placement of the bowls),
The other person gently slide her hands in and support the first bowl with a slight inwards push.
That might prevent other bowls from falling? ~ a 8 year old suggestion which makes some sense to me.

1. Sign an Insurance contract for each plate and define some humgous nominal Value. Don't worry about the fees you will definitely not paying for too long.
2. Wait for the Insurance to be valid.
3. Open the cupboard while laughing more evil than Goldfinger.
4. Profit.

Try to slip a large cloth through into the cupboard carefully. The cloth need to be more larger than the cupboard door, maybe a curtain. Then, ask your child help you to pull the cloth from four direction(up,down, left, right) and should be form like a wall. Then slowly open the cupboard, the plates will fall, but the cloth will catch it and prevent it fall to the land. I hope this can help you. Goodluck and sorry for my poor English. I'm from Malaysia. :)
