Prepre a long metal ruler or a spatula. Open the door slightly, place the metal ruler under the first plate, push it up as much as possible and ask someone else to prepare pillows at the bottom of the cabinet. Slowly open the door and hold the rest. That would do the trick.

Gather all fluffly blankets. Lay blankets down flat infront of the cupboard. Make sure the blankets are spred out nicely and that it is properly cushioned. Open door and let the bowls be free.
