Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Get a piece of cardboard, large enough to just cover the front. Slightly open the door and start sliding the cardboard in and up, the cardboard should help keep the items in place, and be pliable enough for you to be able to push them back into place.

Crack open door.slide sturdy cardboard in front of dishes leaving enough room to get your arm behind to remove dishes.may help to get help holding cardboard and place a basket with a thick towel under door in case you miss a few and aide in the clean up and never stack them high enough to have them topple again.someone could be under there next time and they push the door open

Some of the suggestions here are flat out stupid. I understand this seems to be a stupid question in itself so the stupid responses are expected.
Best one is probably the only one and that is to break the window on the right and remove the dishes thru the broken window.

Get out magic wand, the spell is "wingardium Leviosa." Say the spell as you swish and flick. If you're a Muggle, get Harry or Hermione. Ron is a bit of a cluts.

Put earbuds in, blast music, close you're eyes(real tight), pull door open, turn around and run (very fast) out the door, jump in the car and drive away, go shopping, get a massage, pedicure or whatever you like to do to relax. when you are done doing some thing relaxing go home, take a deep breath (before walking in door), look at smashed dishes and start demanding answers. Look at the kids, the dog, the husband (especially him) and demand to know who did it. Pour a drink while hubby cleans up

Build a time machine. Go back in time to 2 minutes before you put these dishes in the cupboard. Warn your past self not to do it.
Try and believe your future self. Come back to the future.
DID YOU BELIEVE?

Close door on right toward left just touching plate. Then same action to left- sided door. Reach in refit door and go back to fourth plate. Jiggle plates to compress into compact stack and pull out. Then easily compact loose plates on shelf and open desired door.

I would cut the glass above the bowls and re-stack them before opening the door.

(1) Pierce a hole through the top of the cupboard and fill with sand.
(2) Then, tilt on the back side and open the door.
(3) Remove plates and clean from sand.
