Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

If the door is hinged, remove hinges while someone pushes on door, never losing contact, turn the door slowly 180 degrees and have someone pulling the BOWLS (not plates) out. Minor scratches on glass but nothing broken.

Try opening the cupboard outside the atmosfere. The lack of gravity and air pressure may keep the plates intact

Take the entire cupboard, and tilt it backwards. If they don't fall into place, just give it a few gentle shakes.

Build a time machine , go back in time.
And tell your self that I have come from future.
Tell her to Don't panic, keep the dishes somewhere else. Simple.

Wrap the whole cupboard with strong black carton. Then push it off the wall. After this attach it again on the wall. Never unwrap it. You will have a Schrodinger's cupboard where all the plates will be be broken and whole at the same time.

Foam below the opening of the cupboard just in case some fall. Slowly open the cupboard, plates will shift, have someone put their hands in and hold the plates or push them back up.
