Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.

Put pillows on the floor so when the dishes fall to the ground they won't break

Open it just enough so a tiny little man can squeeze on in. NOTE: Man must either have slightly proportionate strength, though strength of a normal human compressed in an ant-sized man could make the dishes crack a thing the slightest touch, not enough strength and your ant person may be sacrified saving the dishes.

Do the fireman way. Put something soft at the bottom(cushion) where you can expect the plates to fall and open the cupboard.

Remove one of the unaffected pane glass of the cupboard then you can re-arrange them again or take them out!

Call David Blain and have him make them disappear. Then open the cabinet and build a wider shelf. When he makes them reappear they will be on the shelf! Duh!

If you're able to get a running start and sprint as fast as possible you should be able to phase through the cupboard and re stack them. If you're fast enough you might travel back in time to where the plates were nicely stacked. But you would have to keep track of time and make sure they don't fall again. Time traveling is risky. By doing so, you might replace a couple falling plates with something worse.

Usually hutches separate the top from bottom. If this one separates take top off and lay flat on back . The rest of dishes will move some but should be OK. And then you can take all dishes out . Return top hutch and put all the dishes back in.

Slide a piece of glass or cardboard through the door to hold the dinnerware up, open door. Ta-da!

Get a sack of packing peanuts under the cabinet, open the door, the falling bowls will fall into the packing peanuts. Because there is air inbetween the peanuts, the bowls will drop deep in the sack and not break.

Cut class row horizontally below where the dishes are to open, grab bed foam and push up to dishes foam protects from large fall. Have person hold the foam while they move the cabinet out and unscrew or cut the back wall.

Remove the entire cupboard without opening the door, then rotate it slowly to let gravity gently put it down against the back, then open the door! :D
