Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Cut out the top window glass. After carefully removing the dishes... have the glass replaced. Good luck!!

Just wiggle the sideboard away from the wall enough to tilt it back enough so that the plates lay flat open the doors retrieve plates and safely put the sideboard back and re stack the plates in smaller stacks this time .

Get a few old newspapers. Feed in sheets of paper through the gap on the left one (or more, of they fit) at a time. Eventually the lower compartment will be full of bunched up newspaper. Once the dishes leaning against the glass are more or less stabilized you can open the door slightly. Stuff in more newspaper and open the door until you can reach in and take the dishes out carefully. You may also have to stuff paper in the upper compartment also.
It is cheap and easy to do.

Only 2 ways i see that will not damage the cabnet or bowls...#1 have someone stand there while u open the door real quick to catch or #2 tape the doors shut get 4 or more people and tilt the cabinet backwards really slowly or foward then take the back off of cabinet

Buy tickets to go skydiving with cupboard. Open cupboard while free falling and catch all dishes and contents before you release your parachute.
Note: Cupboard may or may not be equipped with chute. If not equipped and smashes into the ground you can sell the dishes and other contents you caught while free falling for a new cupboard. Then just buy new dishes on Amazon.
