Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Put your house on a space ship and blast it into outer space where there is no gravity. The plates will float and then you can carefully wrap them up with padding in between and the return to earth.

Just create an alternate reality in which you are incredibly wealthy where you don't care whether your plates crash or not

Get a large trash bag, hold it open and ready while someone opens the door so that they all fall into the bag they were headed for anyway. No clean up. I like the, lean it backward idea though lol

Hold a large box of water directly under the cupboard door, open the door slowly. I give it a 50% survival rate.

Drill a hole the size of a plate in the cupboard next to it. Gradually stick your hand in there grab each bowl and pull them out until you are able to open the door. And then patch the hole in the other cupboard. Or go through the top of the cupboard.

Piece of card slightly longer than the door and half the width when folded for strength. Open door slightly giving enough space for the cardboard to fit through the bottom but not enough to clause a cascade of plates. Slide to the top so that the plates are now resting on a piece of carsboard with two bits sticking out at either end. Close the cubard as much as possible and hold the cardboard there as tightly as possible while another person opens the cubard and removes the plates. Done.
