Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Y'all are dumb. Just put a bunch of fluffy pillows on the ground and open it. When they fall, they will land safely on the pillows with no breaks.

Put your hand on the glass, cut the glass in a circular pattern around the bowls, open door, rearrange plates ✔️

Place a picture frame around the cupboard and call it modern art.

Assuming the bowls are more valuable , both materially and sentimentally , contact a glass company and have a skilled glass cutter cut an opening in the glass. Gain control over the bowls and then just replace the glass pane

Cut the glass beneath the plates and then remove them from that hole.

They look like sliding doors, not pull open doors. With that being said why not slide the door enough to reach in and pull them out 1 at a time?

Burn the house down, the cabinet will slowly burn the ground, afterwords retrieve the plates

Have someone hold a sheet under the cabinet as you open it. Make sure you at least try and catch some!

Cut through the wood on the other side ,its cheaper to restore ,glue the cut sides back, caulk, sand and repaint..

A very boring solution but it works. Pull the entire cupboard forward and tilt it backwards. The cups will move back in place or open the door and remove everything before putting the cupboard back to its upright position

Step 1: Paint over the glass. Step 2: Have a dinner party. Step 3: Ask least favourite friend or relative at the party to retrieve something out of that cabinet. Step 4: Place blame and drop hints about replacements.

Is there enough room to fit a coat hanger between the door and frame, if so bend hanger until it pushes dishes back then open door.

Borrow 007's round hole glass cutter and cut a hole in the middle of the plate against the glass. Then use a dowel rod to start spinning the plate. With some patience you should be able to get all the plates spinning and then open the cabinet. Problem solved :) now for some dumplings...
