Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Remove the window pane to the right and grab the falling plates very carefully.

I bet all the panes are the same piece of glass with a wooden grid in front of them, so don't smash the glass, or else all of it might break. Instead, get a glass cutting tool and a suction cup, and cut a hole in the glass around the suction cup near the top of the cupboard. Reach your hand in and re stack the bowls.

Scream at them. Sonic wave will push them in place. Make shore your someone holds you in place though.

Remove the panel of glass above the plates, reach in and remove/resituate the plates that will otherwise fall when you open the cupboard. Replacing the glass panel above will not cost very much.

paint the glasse so when another person comes to take a plate everything will crash and you can blame it on them

Get a piece of firm but thin cardboard and carefully open the cupboard door only enough to slide in the cardboard to cover the bowls. Hold the cardboard firmly in place and slowly open the door. If you've done it right you'll be able to reach around the cardboard and straighten or remove the bowls one by one. And next time stack your bowls upside down in rows of 4.

Gravity is a heartless bitch… Drill a hole in a cupboard and create an antigravity environment.

Break one of the glass panels above the dishes and gently remove them one by one. Use gloves to prevent cuts. A glass panel is much less expensive to replace than an entire set of dishes.

Stack pillows and blankets outside the cupboard

From the pic, it looks like the doors slide open, not open outward. Shouldn't be to hard to gently slide the door to the right enough to get a hand inside and reposition the dishes.

Let the children solve the problem. And if they break any plate. Deduct it to their allowance, I'm sure they will take seriously than their schooling.;)

Have you tried to restart the cupboard? If that doesn't work, unplug it and wait 2 minutes... then put it back in power and it should be back to normal... well at least my mac works like that

Place a huge mattress in front the cupboard and open. Be prepared to catch a few.

Buy a glass cutter, which is very cheap, cut out the lower glass beneath the plates and carefully push them upward if possible and then open tree door. Problem solved!!!!!!
