Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Silicone all the gaps, take out the top left place of glass . Then connect a hose and fill that cupboard up with water, grab your self a few goldfish and voila, your very own goldfish with plenty o'bowl.

the only solution I see to save the dishes is to carefully break the glass of the cupboard to the right of the dishes.

Remove the top left peice of glass, then reach in with a hammer and teach those damn bowls and plates a lesson or two. They'll behave next time.

Realize that this is not a cabinet, but instead is a storefront window from the outside. Go in the store, and from inside, simply re-stack them properly. Buzzkill, yeah I've been called that before.

Open little enough to push the clothes inside at bottom and fill it with enough cloths. So if any plates slides down it will be safe on clothes, meanwhile u can grab other plates from falling and can open door completely

Just place a mattress or few bean bags infront of the cupboards ,the plates will just fall on them ,everything will be fine

Place one of those flexible thin plastic cutting board through the top of the cabinet door downward and that will hold the plates as you open the cabinet. I am MacGyver! Aka Kirsten Calhoun. You're welcome.

Gently use an automatically-oiling glass cutter to cut out a square from the pane on the right, fill under the bowls with towels/clothes until they support the bowls; gently remove the bowls working from the back, to the front. 👍🏼
