Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

If there is a second door that you can open, I would open it and have someone hold the door the dishes are on closed while you reach your arm in to move the dishes

No one has mentioned the obvious. Ask people on FaceBook to pray for your dishes.

I'd open it an inch. Then slide something like a wooden ruler or a hanger along to hold the plates in place whilst I open the door fully.

Have a glass company carefully cut a hole in the glass to the right of dishes, stick your hand in and right them before you open the cabinet door. It's a risk that you'll have to decide if you want to take or not, because at the very least, you'll have to replace the glass on the cabinet door. At worst, you'll have to replace the dishes as well. Please post to let us know what you decided to do and the results!

Prepare a Box, just open the wardrobe let the dishes break, pack it in the box and send it to Japan and back.
According to the internet, Japan seals the cracks with gold, as they value imperfections as beauty.

Wait a minute, from the look of the handle that's a sliding door! If you slid it very carefully just enough to reach your hand in you could catch the bowls before they fall....

Ok this is going to be very very hard to do.
But I am going to tell you step by step on how you can open the door without breaking anything.
1. Open the door very very slowly just for your left hand to go through.
2. While you are opening your door you will realise that the plates in it will move towards your right which might disbalance and fall down which is why u have to do it very slowly.
3. Once you have enough space, place your hand on the bottom bowl and push it upwards on the shelf.
