Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Go to Hogwarts, buy a wand and learn the spell to levitate objects. Never come home because Hogwarts is way better than your house.

No need to smash. Just put a mattress below your cupboard if it is mounted to the wall!

Get your Portal gun, open it just enough to shoot a Portal on the side. Then, shoot one at the wall and grab the bowls out of the cupboard

If you have glass cutter, cut the glass underneath so you can fit both hands underneath the plates to catch the plates or remove the one by one.

Answer's quite simple. Check out the right-hand side of the picture. See that brown square? Now, look at the very bottom middle of the picture. See those blue and white stripes?
That you can see anything behind the cupboard means only one thing:
The back "wall" of the cupboard has been removed to place the dishes in such a way. Thus, all one needs to do is walk 'round behind the cupboard to get whatever dishes they may need.

I'd get a box and pit a pillow in it to catch the ones that fall. Then I'd open it fast and try to stop any on shelf from falling and restack. Might lose a couple but would've be too worried. If they were super expensive or sentimental just smash the top glass.

Drill small hole in top of cupboard then slowly pour in sand. It should slow the falling plates in the cupboard so nothing breaks. Get ready to clean up the sand..😊

Have a referendum. If 52% vote to open the cupboard, keep fighting until they have another referendum and referendum after referendum until enough people vote to keep it closed.

Slowly open the door and keep one more person with you to support the dishes when you open the door and Keep something cushiony but wide enough to hold bowl or plate if it fell down

Open the right side and slide your arm into the cabinet until you can reach the bowls. Carefully slide them back from the edge of the shelf until they are safe.
