Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Take a really nice professional photograph, frame it really nicely and sell it with a really really good price. You then use the money to buy even better plates!

These are sliding doors and the bowls are flush to the glass. Slide door part ways open hold and lift bowls with left hand while opening with the right. Go slow .

REALISTIC ANSWER - Open the door on the left > Dig a big hole > Get the plates > You are done. Advantage- this will help you if the problem persists again.

It's a sliding door. Start sliding ever so gently to the right and creep your left hand in to catch the plates from falling.

This looks like a free standing cupboard. Apparently it got tilted forward in order to create the scene we are looking at. Carefully move cupboard away from wall, Slowly tilt backward until dishes and bowls and whatever are no longer pinned against glass door. Open door. Remove all dishware. Bring cabinet upright again. Move cabinet back into place and tie it to the wall (there are ways). Replace your stuff and celebrate with just two glasses of wine this time instead of two bottles.

Press and hold the power button, home and volume down button all together for 10 seconds. Then wipe cache and reboot. Plates will be stacked in a neat order once again.

Go buy a glass sucker and a glass cutter, stick the glass sucker to the right window and cut around it -if the plates are dear to your heart-

Take all the mattresses from your beds and arrange them near the cupboard on the floor and then open the door...
