Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

If it's not a built in you can slide it away from the wall and easily pop the back off. Then repair the back after.

Cut a small circular hole in the window and use a thin pole to push the dishes back up and then reglaze.

Easy, 2-4 people and a duvet. HAVE the duvet directly under the cupboard (hold it up with a slight dip so that they don't fall over the side) and open the cupboard so they don't fall far and VOILA you have your bowls

Use a glass cutter to cut a hole smaller than the first bowl but bigger than your hand. Then push them back.

You can move the glass next to it and easily take those plates
No harm 🌚👌

Cut just around the pane of glass holding the plates. That way you only cut through the wood. Hold that pane back while you open the door. Fix the plates. Then glue the wood back in.

Honestly, you're a mom right? Are your children young? Take the display outside and have a whack at it when you feel stressed out by them. Screw the plates, keep your sanity.

Just lay some thick blanket or cloth on the floor and spread it out. Then open the door? LOL

Break or separate the top glass square on the cupboard and take out the bowls one by one of the cupboard. If they don't have a sentimental value, do what #1 said. :)

The glass for the door can be replaced. Break the one above and simply take out the plates.

Take the cupboard to nasa. They can fly it to space. With the absence of graviry, you should be able to safely remove the dishes without fear of them breaking. Or, if nasa can't do it, build a machine capable of creating a zero gravity field inside your house.
