Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Bring the mattress from the bed room, speread them over a reliable area (estimate how far the plates could probably fall), open the door and try to catch few of them or try to push them away from falling on each other.

Looks like sliding doors to me. If it's correct. Then slide slightly open to allow your hands to retrieve them!

Draw a smiley face on the glass where the last plate is. It will be a reminder that when things go wrong, you will always have Internet :)

Secure the front doors and remove the back of the cupboard which can be tacked back on or replaced

You know... you can just put large pieces of foam anywhere below the plates and have a blanket surrounding it to make a perfect landing. You know, the usual Simone Biles

whilst brushing your teeth, have a bottle of bourbon in the other hand. Spit your toothpaste on the glass, take a swig of bourbon, polish the bottle off, then smash the glass with the bottle, catch plates in arms and place safely onto the bench. Problem solved.

Carefully open cupboard door. With your left hand, reach for a wine glass as you ignore the other cupboard in question.

Leave cupboard locked but Open cut the glass on the bottom right. Cut the cardboard that the plates are placed in n gently pull it down to remove the first half on the right. Then slowly remove wat yo hand can with plates on the left. once it's left with just a few countable bowls....open the cupboard slowly and gentle remove the plates.

It looks like a sliding door. If so, there should be 2 pcs of sliding doors. Remove the unaffected door, by lifting up the door and it should come off the rail and can be removed from the cabinet. Than reach in from the right and retrieve the bowls 😀
