I hate doing laundry too, but you know what I hate even more? Being gross and stinky!

Never give in to them. Consistency on your end is the only way to stop it. Stop doubting yourself. Mom's tantrums have gotten her way over the years. Imagine how shocked she'll be when it doesn't work anymore.

Stay the course! Standing up for yourself will get easier the more you do it.

So he's turning it into a hostage situation over a blanket?

This is kind of a good idea. I've seen people do it with heads of cabbage.

Yep, a bullet was dodged! The true hero of this story is the elderly lady that chased down her runaway potatoes and then knocked them on the floor.

Sounds like they both had a come to Jesus moment, so that worked out. They both took ownership for the miscommunication, learned from it and are pushing forward. There's no way that problem was big enough to end a marriage.

This was solved

I saw a documentary about this. McD's tried to take the cheap way out, and they paid handsomely for it. All she asked for was help with her medical bills.

I went to the E R (here in the U S (from non stop vomiting.) I had to BEG for an IV. I don't want pain killers. All I wanted was a bag of salt water to stop the shooting body aches from being dehydrated.
Well, I hope you got at least a puppy out of it

When I was a kid (I'm 59 now) my dentist at the time didn't use Novocaine for anything. For years I thought this was normal.

I went to a Parochial school grades K through 8, and this happened on a daily basis amongst all the teachers. The worst was the 3rd grade teacher. She wouldn't stop until you cried. She even used to bring kids in from higher grades to humiliate. NONE of our parents believed us. My husband calls it prison school

To heck with the chickens. Can we talk about her dress?

All that prep and no one had a Tide pen?
