We haven't had this problem except one other time when we were not locking the basement door and caught people bringing their laundry from a nearby building. I ordered 2 keylocks to attach to the washer and dryer and thanks for your suggestion about the locks.

First off it wasn't my BF but my downstairs neighbor who caught them the first time. Secondly, you have to supply your own washer and dryer and they do not have either. Also, the hookups are clearly marked for which apartment and the hookups are several feet apart so even if they happened to buy the exact same washer and dryer that I have, there should be no confusion. Lastly, no as this just happened last night I have not spoken to them, nor have they made any attempt to contact me.
