When the company fired my 7th boss in 2 years and moved me to another department again.
I am an asset but not enough to manage myself, even though I have been doing that for these past years since I can never establish rapport with my leadership.

I tried a new job and on my second day, which I was asked to come along to see how things work on a Saturday, I just saw a whole lot of wrong with the event setup company. The first big red flag was the graphic designer I was working with was doing all sorts of things that are way outside his position. He was working long hours, loading the truck, driving the truck, managing the setup, doing IT stuff for the company, and who knows what else. On the drive to the event setup, one of the guys in the truck mentions the state inspection is about to expire and the graphic designer goes "Oh yeah, I need to do that." And I was thinking WTF? Why is HE responsible for all these things???? That made me feel "I'm done" in my head. It's a foreshadow that the boss will probably make me do all these things too. The rest of the day only got worse but I was already gonna quit at the end of the day.
The graphic designer was a total yes man for the boss doing whatever he says. The event setup was supposed to take 6 hours depending on who you ask, but ended up taking 14 hours which really pissed me off. And I think it was totally "normal." The boss was a micromanager that even got mad at me for drinking my bottle water for 5 seconds. If you're standing around for more than 30 seconds he'd yell at you to do something. I also had the feeling the boss would frequently make me work weekends despite the job description saying usual office hours M-F. I quit after I got home.
Later I looked up the same place I found the job opening and saw there were reviews which I didn't notice before. A LOT of the negative reviews reflected all the suspicions I had of how bad the company was: Terrible boss, long hours, micro managing, doing a whole bunch of things outside of job description, negative work environment, very very high turnover rate, and they wouldn't always pay the right amount. I was glad I quit early.

Sinking into seasonal depression for yet another canadian winter. It didn't matter how many vitamin D supplements I took, how many "happy" lights I put in my apartment or how many mid-day walks I went on. Every year like clockwork, my brain just went out of service until springtime.
Last year I decided it would be the last. Now it's December and I'm still functional, for the first time in my life.

I was working a nightmare schedule of ten days in a row
I was asked if I would work a double. I said yes because I needed the hours. I was then scheduled, in the middle of the ten days, for 16 hours after only getting off eight hours prior to starting that double to then clock out and come back in after another eight hours before going back into a typical eight hours on, 16 off
That was 'fine.'
It was a front desk job for a budget hotel where for my entire tenure, meals were fine at the desk; there was only ever one person scheduled and you were expected to be attentive of the desk at all times with no breaks. After they had realized what they did with my schedule, the owners offered to get me lunch... and then three breaths later immediately took issue with pizza I already had on my person at the desk; around noon, three hours before we even typically allowed early check ins. Tried directing me, on hour six of sixteen, to only eat in the office. While 'fair,' the integrity that was on display during that exchange caused a very quick and short evaluation. Especially a few hours later they also tried to demand maintenance to do several simple tasks I was more than capable of doing to keep their day simple (take out front desk trash and run a ozone machine in a room). They were within their right, and I'm keeping it brief as there were other things they said, but more or less displayed just how much they didn't respect most other people. They could've been far more sensitive, and especially to the person they were working like a dog
I immediately went job hunting that very day, eager to work for most of anyone else. Didn't take me long to line up something else. The hilarious thing was they tried bribing me to stay another week to train people. I had to tell them no.

Not work related, but a "friend".
He had zero concept of boundaries. He would constantly "jpke" to expose people's intimate matters to the rest of the friend group, he would act offended when people kept their business private, he would insist to pry on everything...
Prior to the "done with this" moment, I had already clashed with him because he would look me up on dating apps and share screenshots of my profile as if we has exposing something I was trying to hide.
I told him multiple times that I didn't want him commenting on my life. I knew I would end cutting him off, I just didn't know what would be the moment.
Then I went to a party in a certain place that he liked. A photo of me in that party got to the social media of the place of the party.
He sent a message to the friend group, pretty much saying "A friend of ours went to this party, but I won't comment on who he is because he asked me not to."
So pretty much, stomping on boundaries and bragging about it, while pretending not to do it. I remember reading the message and thinking "Yep. This is when I cut you off."
And I did.
He has tried to talk to me a couple times, but honestly, life is just so refreshing and relaxed with him out if it...

Was working a temp job when I was trying to make ends meet, one of those ‘show up and we’ll tell you what to do’ administrative kinda things. Most gigs were for a few days, but this one was for two weeks. Awesome.
Get there and it turns out they want me and another girl to do data entry for the time we’re there. But not just ‘enter this number in this cell’ stuff, but formulas, pivot tables, all the things my Excel nightmare are made of. I realistically know I can’t do this without some kind of training or guidance. Boss lady asks if we know what we’re doing, I say no, other girl says no problem. Boss lady asks if she’ll show me what to do, girl says yes, and boss lady leaves. As soon as she does, the girl turns to me, tells me she doesn’t have time to explain it to me, and gets started. I took about 30 minutes trying to figure out what to do, said nope, tried to find boss lady so I could tell her what was going on so I wasn’t a complete jerk, couldn’t, and ended up leaving.

Vaping. I never vaped as a teenager or young adult and started that the ripe age of 27 when i was stationed in south korea. It was a habit that i thought was impossible to kick for 2 years. My 2 mile went from a respectable 13:00 - 13:30 to a laughable 16:00-16:30 and I was constantly jones-ing for nicotine ever 30 minutes.
It wasn't until I saw my resting heart rate was 90BPM and would raise to 120BPM when walking around my home. .

I had a customer facing job and we had riff raff come in from the streets. Sometimes I had to refuse service and ask them to leave - then they made a scene and made life threats. Business had been down. I had hit my ceiling in position and pay because plans to expand the company were put on hold and I left after 3 years. No pay raise in the pipeline and my rent went up in a big way, so I could no longer afford to stay at the job. The owner was a nice guy but kinda hands-off and no real goals to boost business and morale. I had to leave and try get myself a raise elsewhere. But that's been a patch work struggle for the past 3 years.
As of today, I'm top candidate for a role that would pay me 62% higher than that last full time role - with role promotion, and traditional M to F 830 to 430/5pm schedule unlike the previous role where I worked 3 to 4 evenings.

Nothing specific but rather a gradual feeling of isolation. As I got older I started to feel disconnected from everyone else around me (ME country). They didn’t get me and I didn’t get them. It was time to make a change. It worked, I’m happy and successful. Literally only worried about potential health issues now as everything else feels sorted out or being sorted out.

Saw students cheating on a final exam in a post-graduate class and the professor litterally looking the other way. I'd been struggling the whole semester because I was working twelve hour night shifts and only barely finding time to study. I walked out without finishing the test and have made no further progress toward obtaining a master's degree.

Coworker tragically (wild accident type) lost his life on the job during my noc shift Christmas Eve 2020. By 4am, suits had arrived. Mid-hug, bawling our eyes out, one of them came up to us and said “Just try to focus on work. We’ll get you all some resources in the coming hours.” I went home, had a talk with my husband, we looked at our finances, and I quit the day after Christmas.
More recently, I saw a picture of myself and decided I was done feeling and looking like a beached whale. I don’t actually look like it but I’m not comfortable in my own skin. Started working out and eating a lot better insect March 1st. I’ve done this time and time again, but that photo made me want to crawl into a hole and come unalive.

Not so much I'm done with life but I'm done with a certain neighbor
The charming people to the north of me felt like since I have two driveways they can use one of them as a turnaround
Every last one of these lots is 16,000 ft plus long. You have plenty of place to park your vehicles. You have enough room for a car lot. Stay off my driveway
20 lb of concrete. Half a dozen pieces of wrought iron A dozen reflectors. Several feet of rope later and good luck getting through that side of the driveway now
What you want to borrow my chainsaw after being a general pain in the backside for the last couple of years
seriously

My freshman year of college, I had a huge crush on an older guy who was in one of my classes. I was doing everything that I could to impress him. I got an improved wardrobe, I started straightening my hair, ect. He asked me out on a date one day and I was really excited. The day of, I had a presentation and as I was walking to class I slipped on a patch of uprooted, fake grass and landed in mud. My pants were completely covered in mud as well as some parts of my upper body from trying to stop the fall. I had class in less than 30 seconds and therefore, no time to change.
My crush was in this class and I was mortified. After my presentation, I sneezed which made me fart. The class was really small (only 8 people because it was an advanced chem class) and so everyone heard. Before this, I had been pursing this guy like crazy but I stopped after this. I couldn't look at him without thinking of that day and wondering what he thought of me.

One summer night, I heard footsteps on the concrete steps outside our front door at about 11 p.m. Someone was also rattling the door. That was when I grabbed a knife from my desk and got ready to defend myself. While I was waiting for the door to break, I heard footsteps again, this time coming down the stairs. I stayed awake for about two hours after. The next morning, my neighbour found screwdriver marks on his front door. A few streets away, someone broke into a house three weeks later.
