The Loch Ness isn't the only lake monster. In Canada, we have our fair share of reported large water serpents. Manipogo is said to reside in Lake Manitoba. Reported sightings go back to the 1800s, however Indigenous people have stories of a lake monster for much earlier in history.
Legend has it if you walk backwards 3 times around St. Andrews Church, located in Selkirk, Manitoba, you'll disappear and never be seen again. People have tried this and nothing happened, though. But it's said to be a very haunted church, anyways.
