If you’re heading out for Halloween fun, make sure your costume doesn’t turn into a safety hazard. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends choosing costumes that allow you to see clearly and using reflective details to improve visibility after dark.
Also, be careful with decorative contact lenses; they can injure your eyes if they’re not properly fitted.
If you’re handing out candy, check that treats are individually wrapped and keep food allergies in mind. Peanuts, milk, and other common allergens can make some sweets unsafe for certain children.
Offering non-food treats, such as stickers or glow sticks, is another way to make sure more trick-or-treaters can join the fun.
Now, Pandas, with Halloween just around the corner, we want to hear about your favorite traditions!
Are you all about the costumes, the candy, or decorating your home like a haunted mansion? Tell us in the comments what makes Halloween special for you and share any funny or spooky traditions you look forward to every year.
