Halloween is here, and alongside the pumpkins, ghosts, and witches, there's another familiar face making an appearance everywhere: the black cat. These little creatures have become one of the most recognizable symbols of the spooky season, but their association with Halloween comes with a rather unfortunate history.
To celebrate Halloween and give these adorable miniature panthers some well-deserved attention, we've put together a special collection of 50 funny and cute black cat photos shared by the Facebook page Fotos de animais fofos pra você desestressar, also known as Cute Animal Photos To De-Stress. The page has attracted around 1.2 million followers and is already familiar to Bored Panda readers, as we've featured its amusing animal pictures before.
