Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.

Use glass cutter and cut a portion where you can insert your hand or wood cutter cut the wood above the partition if there's a partion and fix the plates.

The best option is to go to the cupboard on the left and simply cut a square hole in that you can reach in and fix the disruption. Then fix the hole

Get some paint and a coyote. Have the coyote paint a hole on the glass. Put your hand through it and straighten plates. Clean the glass when finished and release the coyote.

Cut out the top pane of glass with a glass cutter, reach in and take out the dishes. When all the dishes are out, you can open the door. Just take the door off and have the pane refitted with new glass. Very cheap fix.

With two people, one person holds a towel or some soft linen at the bottom of the cupboard where the bowls will fall. Then slowly open and release the bowls and have them fall into the towels.

Step 1: Duct tape the door closed
Step 2: Place mattress, blanket, or other soft material underneath cabinet.
Step 3: Place structural support at the end of the said soft object to catch the cabinet so that the doors can open
Step 4: Slowly tilt cabinet downwards.
Step 5: Remove the duct tape and slowly open doors and make sure that plates fall gently upon the soft object and upon eachother.
Step 2: Place mattress, blanket, or other soft material underneath cabinet.
Step 3: Place structural support at the end of the said soft object to catch the cabinet so that the doors can open
Step 4: Slowly tilt cabinet downwards.
Step 5: Remove the duct tape and slowly open doors and make sure that plates fall gently upon the soft object and upon eachother.
