Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.

Take a big pan of water and put it under the door open door slowly and maybe the dishes will fall in the water

Place pillows right beneath the cupboard. So when you open it, the plates will fall on the pillows, not the floor.

Pull out from the wall then cut a small hole in the back Big enough to fit your hands in and reach in and grab the plates. You need to brace the doors so they don't pop open and keep pressure on the plates that have already reached the door. Start grabbing the plates from the bottom of the stack and remove them while you hold the fallen plates against the door. Remove those last. It will be easier to repair the back of the cupboard and not as noticeable.

Pull the whole thing out about a foot and then tilt it back so you can open it easily. Make sure someone is holding door closed while you pull it out. Best of luck.
