Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.

Empty the cupboard next to it. Drill a finger sized hole through to the jammed cupboard. Point the nozzle of a cheap expanding foam spray can towards the plates, and in several small bursts make sure just enough foam joins all the plates. Remember it expands! No more needed. Wait to set fairly hard, and gently open the door and take apart the 'plate structure'. :) the foam should come off fairly easily, and you have an added small vent hole on the inside. No external destruction or damage done!

Just walk into the next rooom and bore a hole in the wall directly adjacent to the cabinet. Proceed through the wall and then through the cabinet's back and simply pick your plates up. And then as a bonus you have a direct window to the kitchen!

They're going to fall as soon as you move that door. Carefully remove (don't break, no matter how fun) the pane of glass above the bowls, stand on something and scoop them up with your arm. You may loose 1 or 2, but not all of them. If that fails, dynamite.
