Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.

Break portion of glass on right & carefully remove bowls from back till you get to the few that are tilted, Only glass needs to be replaced and that is cheap.

Buy heavy duty car jack- 4-ton rated will suffice. Jack up corner of house, opposite of cupboard until plates slide back to original position, go on to live as usual

the obvious solution is to break the top pane of glass, then maneuver in with your arm to straighten the china. replacing a cheap pane of glass in a cabinet door, $10. saving your priceless china, priceless.

Turn the cabinet around n remove the back panel/cut open the back panel (can be replaced n won't be noticeable) n breach from the rear. Needs to be done delicately.

Smash the glass on the top left. Fix the dishes properly or take them out, then replace the glass.

Get a towel another player Jimmy the towel into the door, keeping the pressure on it like it is the door, open door you will see the plates pushing against towel, boom all plates are in tact and you didn't loose a one

With help from friends and family clear the front and sides of the cupboard. slowly pull the cupboard foward(hold the door shut) start to slowly put the cupboard flat on its back(on the floor). When that is done hope for the best and slowly open the door you might break one or two plates but at least the whole set wont break.

if i'm seeing things correctly the door slides open. gently slide the door till you or someone with small hands can reach the first bowl. hold it from falling and it will stop the rest while you finish opening the door and help remove the rest.
