Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Using a time machine, transport yourself to the time just before you stored the plates. Then store them properly. Be careful that you don't meet yourself when you go back because you will destroy the events of the current timeline.

First contain any cats you may have, next get a box and put a pillow at the bottom, put the box right where the dishes will fall. then open the cabinet slowly so the the dishes won't fall too hard or far.

Quickly open the door a tiny bit (just enough to fit your handbin) with some good workman gloves on and catch them, push n pin them against the back then use the other hand (or shout for help) to open the door and rescue n restack the littke bastards.

Open the other side door and drill a hole from one side to the other.. about 1/2 inch in size and use spray foam to expand below the plates.. You can view the progress threw the window... and once time has elapsed open the door slowly -- then clean and you only have a 1/2 hole between the two areas to fill or just touch up paint on the cabinet

Drink liters and liters of coffee and red-bull! This will make you so hyperactive it will create the illusion that time has slown down. You are now surrounded by a world in slow-motion. You can open the cupboard, go to the kitchen to do the dishes, vacuum the living room, take a shower, get dressed, make a sandwich and eat it, and then go back to the cupboard to collect the plates as they are ever-so-slowly fallong to the floor.

Take a soft towel, either duct tape one end to the bottom of that cabinet. Hold it at a 45(ish) degree angle and have something like a pool of pillows at the end (could rest on your table). The angle should keep the fall controlled and the pillows at the end should keep most from breaking

Your bowls are simply doing the mannequin challenge, once done, they will resolve back to their stacked and upright position.
