Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Break the windows and put a little kid inside to hold the plates so when you open it they won't fall out!

Like a previous person said, if the glass that is the cupboard cheaper and easier to replace, break the opposite side and reach in. How do you break the glass without screwing up all else?? Take a little piece of porcelain (maybe out of a fuse) then smack it against said glass hard, maybe by finger slingshot made with rubberband, and voilà.

Make a video of you opening the cupboard then post it on Youtube, with ads. You will make enough money to pay for the plates.

Get a glazer to remove the right hand pane from the frame. This will enable you to reach in and lift out the dishes. Reglaze when all sorted.

Put pillows on the ground up against the cabinet, then open the cabinet very slowly. Ifu can catch any before they hit the ground then try. Then let the remainder fall on the pillows.

It looks like it's a sliding door. Just slide it slowly till you can put your arm through and then hold them as you open further!

Using a circular glass cattermole a hole just big enough for a hand in the middle of the bowl resting on the glass. Insert hand and push pile of bowls back onto shelf. Replace pane of glass.
