Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

If top right glass panel is removable then do so, if not, break glass carefully and lift dishes. Glass panel can always be replaced. Good Luck!!

Wait ten thousand years. Archaeologists will dig up and stack all the dishes nicely.

Remove all the items from the neighboring cupboard. Drill a 3 inch hole between the empty and problem cupboard with a hole saw. Reach through the hole and re-stack all the falling plates. Later dress-up and stain the hole, leaving it in place for future problems in either cupboard. It will also help ventilate both in the case of damp dishes being stored.

Publicly challenge a famous magician to save the china. If he accepts, arrange a show. Put a limited number of seats and book them for high price. Arrange podcast with subscription. And then sell your story to newspapers and tv. If he does not accept, dare other magicians and turn it to a challenge.

Tell the plates to not look downwards. I've seen enough Tom & Jerry to know that gravity doesn't work until you look down

Get a big huge fluffy bean bag..place directly under where the fall is to occur. Have another person open the door...you be teady to gently catch what you can and what you don'5 catch falls into the very cushy bean bag.

Take a 3" hole saw and open the adjacent cupboard and drill a hole through the center divider wall so you can reach in and grab the bowls.

Turn on videocamera, open the cupboard while recording the mess. Upload the video, most probably it will turn viral. Then get one of the cups that has not broken, 3d scan it and 3d-print as many as you wish. Use different materials for the 3d-printing, in order to assist your kids with essays for their school. Get elected for mom of the year.

Tape the doors shut, move it away from the wall, cut a hole in the back and pull the plates away from the door. Replace the back hole and push back against wall. Open front doors.

Open up the adjacent glass panel since it is held by wooden strip. And then reach in to get the bowl back into position.
Alternatively,. Get a glass cutter to cut a hole in the adjacent panel large enough to reach the bowl. That is if your porcelain bowl are more valuable than replacing a piece of glass panel.
