Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Call David Blaine and he will remove his skeleton and become slender man and will slide into the cabinet through a tiny crevice and catch and straighten up the falling dishes for you while having 59 million people watching al this go down on national TV and then when done we can all relax

Take the mattress of your bed near the cupboard . Tell your husband to volunteer as WWE wrestler give him a stunner or a chokeslam or anything of your choice to just check if the mattress is soft enough for the plates. If your husband is alive , Go head its safe to open the door .

Get a sheet of 1/4 plywood wide enough to slide in from the bottom of the cupboard and leave you a gap to reach around but long enough to give you grip from the bottom. Your local hardware store should be able to size. With the help of someone, open the cupboard while sliding your hand up to support the board and dishes. Have the helper stabilise the dishes.

Open the door and shout 'Opa' a few times as the plates smash. Hey presto you have a Greek celebration.

Send your husband backwards in time and instruct him to warn you not to stack your porcelain in such a precarious fashion. Oh wait, you tried that one already...but you ignored his sage advice and now look what happened.

Obviously this hasn't happened before presumably. Who put the dishes away last. Tell them next time bottom shelf first, small sturdy even stacks, away from the ledge. Get one of those brick oven pizza trays with the long handle, slide it in between the cabinet under the shelf where the series of unfortunate events is about to occur...and I've got nothing.
