Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Whatever you choose it is important that you set up a video camera and immediately post to you tube once the job is complete, otherwise, it will not work.

Use a glass-cutter on a piece of string to cut a circle big enough for your arm in the top piece of glass, then reach in and rearrange the stack.
Or just be fucking wild and throw the door open and watch them smash!

Hold the door of your cupboard and slowly open it just a bit. Place clothes below your cupboard so that when the plates falls it won't break.

open it slightly, slide some form of hard board in there, push against the boad, open the cabinet, slide the board to the point where you can adjust the plates without causing them to fall.

Move the cupboard away from the wall, and lean or turn it completly and place on the floor. Then open.

It is a matter of economic, if the plates are cheap buy an anti-gravity machine from ebay. If the plates are irreplaceable buy an anti-gravity machine. (Choose a small radius one for slighter better price)

From the picture above, the cupboard is a sliding one. Just slide the cupboard open, just barely enough to stick a hand in to stop the plates from dropping.

Appear to be a sliding cabinet from the picture:
1. Slide the right side of the cabinet door
2. Clear all the fragile items from the right
3. Stack soft materials (e.g. blankets) till the level of the first bowl
4. The soft materials need to be as close to the sliding door as possible
5. Slowly slide the cabinet door open
6. Once wide enough for the hand to reach the bowls, support it and slowly push it back
The soft materials will cushion in case bowl starts to fall
