Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Spread sofa cushions (or use the air bed) on the floor, open the cabinet and let the plates fall on cushions safely.

Smash the glass on top and remove the unaffected plates first, should be able to minimise damage to the lowest.

Open up the door quickly. Then use catlike reflexes to catch every bowl that falls.

Start with some good old duct tape and tape that door right where it is so that it doesn't move open. Carefully tape up the glass holding the plates and the pain of glass below the one holding the plates and brake the bottom pain of glass by pressing on it. Remove the glass by pushing it in only (don't pull on it) then remove everything form that shelf. Using as big a bit of thin ply wood that will fit through the hole, then push up against the inside of the door with ply to push the plates up.

Swish & flick your wand while saying wingardium leviosa.
