Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

1. Create a parallel universe where the plates are nicely organized.
2. Switch cupboards.
3. Sell your creation to NASA.
4. Pretend you are just a genius.
5. Win the astrophysics Nobel prize.
PS: do not revel the reason why you created the parallel universe for the first time.
PS 2: make sure you create a portal big enough, so the cupboard can fit.

The glass is probably 1 large pane for whole door so don't smash it. Could cut a hole in the glass TV bank robber style so that you could get you hand it (careful of the alarms). People do this to fit vents in windows or cut a hole in top of the cupboard. Or if cupboard has a standard gravity hook fitting lift it of the wall and lay backwards. Failing this just check internet, see if bowls still for sale to check if you have to replace those that break or entire crockery set!

Place cushions at the foot of the cupboard before you open it, so even if the plates do fall, they won't break! Win win.

It looks like a sliding door so shouldn't there be a door on the other side that slides in the opposite direction? Open that side, reach in and fix the dishes.

Make a hole in Glass, then spray Solid Foam that is used to cover and fill Rat-Holes. The dishes will be static and won't move. Finally, remove the foam from the plates!
*Tada!!!

Put the cupboard in front of a filled 5-foot pool and then just open the door. Or just put the whole cupboard in the pool.

Bring an acrobatic plate spinner to catch the plates on his/her poles.
