Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Open the door but have a bag or pillow or something soft or able to catch the plates.

Open door, catch them all, if one falls, break the rest. Go big or go home.

Get a quilt/blanket ask someone to hold it for you (hold it like it is supposed to be a trampoline)and open the cupboard the plates will fall on the blanket/quilt.

Put blankets (layers) all over the ground and whatever is under that shelf, open and hope for the best!

Considering the photo has gone viral by now, keep it that way.
Post your address, charge $5 for people to see it and take a selfie with it. Use the image on shirts (use that Schrodinger idea) and sell them. Start a gofundme page with the goal of buying new china, and when you have enough money, broadcast live the moment you open the door and try (unsuccessfully) to save the dishes.
Making the internet a better place, one dish at a time.

I'd like to have a better picture of the cabinet. Does the door swing open or slide open? I need wider view.

Run back in time save some one from being murdered and create a flash-point universe where the plates never tipped over.

Use glass cutter on right side window big enough to get your hand . Be sure to sand off possible jagged areas. Slowly insert your hand through the whole. Then slowly begin to disassemble the fallen stack.

In order to save those plates you must have
110g/4oz butter or margarine, softened at room temperature
110g/4oz caster sugar
2 free-range eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
110g/4oz self-raising flour
1-2 tbsp milk
For the buttercream icing
140g/5oz butter, softened
280g/10oz icing sugar
1-2 tbsp milk
a few drops food colouring
Then go make cupcakes. Cupcakes solves eveything.

Break the glass on the right. It will be cheaper, to replace the glass for the cabinet than the dishes- which looks to be old porcelain and not easily replaced.
