Not everyone is a social butterfly. Some of us are so staggeringly awkward that we stay at home instead. I find it Impossible to talk to people I don't know and haven't been introduced too. It's a total brick wall of literally being unable to speak. Even small talk with people I Do know is shockingly difficult. I'm 52 and had it all my life. I am awaiting my autism and adhd assessments but this is my very weird experience.
