Hi, my name is Nancy Tschetner. I am a full time artist, based in Hamilton New Zealand. The majority of my work is solely created with up to 40 shades of pure and natural New Zealand sand. Gradually, each and every grain becomes part of a larger image represented in my pictures. Just like us, when we come together and stand together, we are stronger and can achieve greater things.I want to create and bring joy, hope and memories into every home.I want to create connection. Connect people with eachother and to #nature.The main subject of my work is nature. I also create commission pieces & portraits of people and animals. With the colour variations of the sand, I can capture the distinctive attributes of that special being and the fleeting magic of a place or memory. The sparkly texture of the sand brings any subject to life I am working in collaboration with @howmanyelephants, to support and save the African elephants.
