I am sorry you feel this way. But, music supports their education and development. It enhances their school experience so they can make the most out of their lessons in subjects like math, science, and language. The students we teach are in low-income schools that provide subsidized lunches and, when the need calls for it, we do provide clothes and coats. When Hurricane Harvey hit, the Prelude Music Foundation raised money and called on our supporters to donate clothes, shoes, and necessities like diapers for the families at the schools who were affected most by the flooding. We are doing the most and the best we can for the students and families. I am sincerely sorry that you do not see the value of education and music.
