This is Alaina…
She is a 13-year-old animal rescuer. She started volunteering at age 9, and began to foster at age 10. Alaina has fostered 112 cats and is still counting. In September 2016, she stopped fostering for the rescue she was fostering for and began to foster at Half The Way Home. She is still fostering, but there still aren’t enough fosters. It can be anything from letting a cat or two stay in a spare bathroom for a week or two until they are adopted or taken in by another foster, to having an entire cat room and fostering 10+ cats at a time. We also need pledges for the vet care that all of our animals need. On a daily basis she raises $100+ in donations, but Half the Way Home needs more.
