World's First Dolls To Travel Around The Globe!

Hi, my name is Jan and on my first round the world trip I had 3 nesting dolls (or usually called Russian dolls - Matryoshki or Babushki) with me which I photographed in each country I've visited. I believe they are the only nesting dolls in the World which ever made Round the World Trip!

Since September 2013 until June 2014 these dolls traveled from Russia to UK and from UK to

France - Nice; Monaco; Germany - Rhine river, Dusseldorf, Cologne; USA - New York, Florida, California; Canada - Toronto, Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec City; Australia - Sydney, Port Macquarie, Hanging Rock Victoria, Great Ocean road, 12 Apostles, mt Gambier south Australia, Melbourne, Darwin; New Zealand - Whanganui river, Moeraki Boulders, Picton, Wellington; Indonesia - Bali; Singapore; Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur; Thailand - Bangkok; Cambodia - Angkor; Hong Kong; Japan - Tokio and returned to UK.

Total - 15 countries (16 including Russia) and around 36000 miles (38 000 with Russia). 36000 miles - 19 flights (20 if counting from Russia to UK).

Later Matryoshki went to Israel, Portugal, Turkey, Gibraltar and Spain!

I do it for fun and to encourage the others by showing, that travelling is amazing and could be a lot of fun!
