It’s hard to believe, but t-shirts made of wood turned out to be the softest and most eco-friendly t-shirts. Aline, Angelo and Timo, the founder of "wijld" had the goal to craft sustainable and ethically produced t-shirts that are still affordable and had discovered that wood is probably the best material to use for this as the fabric has very unique features.
When wearing a WoodShirt it feels like a second skin! Amongst other things the fabric is also extremely durable, has antibacterial properties and keeps you dry and cool in summer. The concept of WoodShirt also comprises the opportunity to get an individual and custom-made t-shirt. This means you can choose between different fits, sizes and colors as well as if required choose a print from a variety of different designs made by hand-picked artists. Currently the three present their concept on Kickstarter where the tees can be pre-ordered at a special price, but only until 19 Aug.
