Of course. Women are already present in most western armies if not all. Doing a great job.
Women have historically had a very active life. Paleolithic women junted together with the men, as seen in many groups like neanderthals or many sapiens. Even nowadays in hunting gathering grouos like the Mbuti or Aka women hunt regurarly. Neanderthal women for example were on average stronger than average men nowadays. Later during the neolithic women did most of the farming, which was a extremely heavy labour. Neolithic women were stronger than female atlethes nowadays.
