When you think about any sport activity you are very likely to associate it with going out. Since most of the planet is under quarantine it's a bit more difficult these days.
I'm a part time photographer in Hungary and I love sports so it got me thinking: What if we did our favorite sports at home - perhaps our own olympic games? As the concept grew into a project I involved my wife and kids in the creative process and suddenly I found myself in a position where I had to pick out the best and most doable ideas - trust me, there were some super crazy ones.
However, I insisted on taking all the photos by myself. Setting the timer on the camera, running to the set, trying to find the right pose in a few seconds wasn't always easy but it sure was a lot of fun. I spent the better part of a weekend running around the house looking for clothes or accessories and of course between the camera and the set, setting the lights and of course doing the post production.
The bottom line is: It's very important to be able to laugh at ourselves every once in a while - especially in these challenging times.
