This is picture of wild flower in desert of India. This blooms mostly during rainy season, so I had to wait for few months before I could click this picture. This is a wild plant found in desert of NW India. Its common name in India is Akda, Aak, Madar. Botanical name is Calotropis procipera,Calotropis gigantea. It contains many alkaloids so is treated as a poisonous plant. But parts of plants like leaves, roots have important medicinal properties. It is used in treatment of malaria, it is also a weedicide of fungicide.
