intrigued, the two men decided to follow the eerie sound. As they did so, their ears led them to a small jagged crack in the rough ground. And as they stood above it the pair heard the distressing cries once more. Whatever it was that was making the unnerving noise, the sound seemed to be coming from under the earth.
