My strategy in crazy 8's and uno is to save up wildcards or 8s and keep at least 2 in my hand until they're the only cards I have left, so when people start actively trying to thwart me it's too late. I win with this sometimes but also sometimes I'll be down to 1 or 2 non-wild cards but I have to draw or use my wild cards against my rules and I end up drawing half the deck.

I went from 3/4th of the whole deck in War to losing. In like 15 minutes.

I lost a game of war even tho I started with 3/4th of the whole deck. How did I start with that? Well, it was my friends deck....
