As a creative other people always assume drawing/designing is our hobby and we just do it for fun.
Well, while we enjoy our work we have bills to pay too.
Can you imagine going to the dentist saying: 'Well, I am a happy person, and love smiling, so when you fix my teeth for free you'll get a lot of exposure!'
Or go shopping: 'Can I have this dress for free? A lot of people will see it, and I'll tell them where I got it. So they might come your way to buy one.'
Maybe at the car dealer: 'I am about to do a road trip and your car would be seen by many people. Please give it to me for free, because it is too expensive and I can't pay for it.'
While this sounds absurd I set up a letter to send out to some other businesses :) Let's see what happens.
