I've always lived surronded by antiquities and lots of forgotten and weird objects. It was for me like an open door to the past, that I wanted to open and share. Since 2014, I try to enligth a part of our history by photographying oddities or ancient things. It's for me a way to show how it can be eloquent and romantic if you choose to pay intention to the mess you have in your attic, because it often talk about his time. I also work in a museum and study history of art, wich permits to me to share some specific places or artefact. Every subject of my work is representing an epoch or a concept we've forgot, paired to an emotion or a philosophical concept. I conceive it like a curiosity cabinet. Finally, it's all a story of trying to find magic in what we often ignore, and showing that you can find beauty even in the dusty things of your great grandmother.
